This film is directed by Amitabh Reza Chowudhury and produced by Gousul Alam under the banner of Content
Matters Production. Aynabazi
is his first film of Amitabh Reza. The film stars who played the lead
role of this film are the Chanchal Chowdhury as
Ayna, Nabila and Partha Barua. Amitabh Reza the director says “the
film is about the story of the dark side
of metro city Dhaka”. The entire film was shot in Dhaka. Officially shooting
of the film began on February 2015 and ended in August 2015.
The film was released
on 30 September 2016. Aynabaji has received largely positive reviews.
The movie has received a good response from audience. It has got a
rating of 9.8 out of 10 at IMDb which is
highest for any Bengali films. The performance of Chanchal Chowdhury is also
praised. It did a record of 91 shows in 10 days that is highest number
for any Bangladeshi film.
The box office collected over ৳21.4 million with occupancy record of 98.89%. And it grossed
67,000,000,000 in three weeks.
This film was screened at Marche du Film at 69th annual Cannes Film Festival, where it scored well. Aynabaji has won
the award of the best film at United States's 11th Seattle South Asian FilmFestival.
On October 14, the film was screened at Seattle Art Museum. During the screening, the lead actor of the film Chanchal Chowdhury was present as chief guest. The festival ran till October 22, at which cast and crew of the screened films were present.

Talking about the award, director Amitabh Reza
Chowdhury said, “Every award is a source of inspiration and this is no
different. However, for me the best award of them all was the smile on viewers'
