The third film of the series xXx: Return of Xander Cage, set for release on 20 January
2017 in the United States. It is directed
by D. J. Caruso, produced by Vin Diesel, Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Samantha Vincent, and written by F.
Scott Frazier and Chad St. John. It stars Vin Diesel, Deepika Padukone, Donnie Yen, Samuel L. Jackson, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Rory McCann, Kris Wu, and Ariadna Gutiérrez.
In this film audiences will see the return of Vin Diesel as Xander
Cage who comes out of self-imposed exile, thought to be long dead, and is set
on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior and his team in a race to
recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box.
Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself
enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels
of world governments.
In this film audiences will also can see the performance of
Deepika Padukone's, who is one of the highest-paid actresses in India and she is
cited in the media as one of the nation's most popular and attractive
personalities. Padukone has established a career in Hindi films, and is the recipient of several awards, including three Filmfare Awards.
We would see her as a co-star of Vin Diesel. Her co-star
Vin Diesel said about the actress that, She is making her Hollywood debut with
the action drama. He believes she is the next global superstar and he is
happy that they share an amazing rapport.
Vin Diesel also said "I love her so much and we
have so much natural chemistry together. All of my moments with her are beautiful. She
was going to Fast 7 and when she came to give test for
that everyone in room was like 'Ahhh, it's so steamy. They have so much
chemistry together.
"My love for her can't be put in words. You will see our scenes together are amazing. We filmed a scene together on the water front and that's my favorite. There is so much heart in it. She is so special. I feel blessed to be a part of her introducing to the whole world because the next global superstar is coming from India," he said.
Diesel has said that the style and music will also be
similar to that of the original film, more of what the fans want, with an
emphasis on extreme stunts and with a heavy metal soundtrack.
